Friday May 23rd - 2025 will see goth-indie legends The Horrors open the festival with an opening party.

Debuting in 2022, A Stone’s Throw’s first two events have featured 100+ artists, swarming Newcastle's coastline and forming the first North East coastal music trail between Tynemouth and North Shields, with the likes of White Lies, Sundara Karma, Sam Tompkins, Pip Blom, Berwyn, Lauren Hibberd and Heidi Curtis all on the bill.

Transforming coffee shops, event warehouses, CBD dispensaries, and working men's clubs into fully fledged music venues for the day, the festival also collaborated with Go North East and North Tyneside Council to provide an open top double decker bus service, transporting wristband holders from venue to venue, whilst live brass bands performed on the upper deck.
