We’re very excited that visitors to The Exchange 1856 will be amongst the very first to hear the debut album of popular Blyth singer-songwriter Kewen - Chapters - which is due out on 15th September.
Kewen & the Crosswalks will launch the album just two weeks later, on Saturday 30th September at 7pm at The Exchange 1856, and you can still bag a ticket if you’re quick.
Inspired by artists such as Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan, Kewen’s
music has a soft-rock feel, which is clearly audible in the catchy and thought-
provoking title track.
Check out the video which accompanies the single, Chapters. Kewen - Chapters
This was filmed in Barter Books, Alnwick, where the Band clearly had lots of fun
playing around amongst the thousands of second-hand books.
Kewen said: "The Exchange 1856 is a lovely venue and is exactly suited to what we need for our album launch gig. We are so excited to bring you the unique show that we have planned. It is mostly an original music event featuring various session musicians and a select few special covers. It's going to be the biggest original show that we have ever put on."
