Returning for its 5th year at The Exchange 1856 this November is the ever-popular East Coast Swing Band.
Formed more than 15 years ago, East Coast Swing has grown into a large 22-piece band, which includes saxophones, trumpets, trombones, and rhythm section, to recreate that classic swing sound of the 40s and 50s.
The Band’s return to The Exchange 1856 will be a night to remember featuring all your old favourite big band tunes, as well as some reworked rock masterpieces - you might, for example, hear some Sade or Stevie Wonder.
You’re sure to be dancing in the aisles.
Miles Walton from East Coast Swing Band is looking forward to the night. He said: “The Exchange 1856 is a fantastic place to play. Being in the theatre makes performing a really memorable and special experience. The audience always raises the rafters and there’s usually dancing in the aisles. We always feel very at home at The Exchange 1856 so it will be lovely to return again for our fifth year.”
